The Comic Shop - Streaming on YouTube
- A charming workplace comedy in the vein of The Office or Abbott Elementary. Series creator Cheyenne The Geek’s independent operation is a word-of-mouth juggernaut. Friends of the podcast Zeno Robinson, Shanae Cole and Grayson Niles are hysterical in this show. I’d advocate for supporting this show if you want to see more like it pop-up!
Knights of Guinevere - Streaming on YouTube
- Glitch’s new Animated Series is an Internet darling already. Owl House creator Dana Terrace takes a look at consumerism, fandom, and desire. I was enthralled by the Pilot for the independent series and I think you will too. Creepy, and somehow inspiring in equal measure!
Maigret - Streaming on PBS Passport!
- A new detective series feels fresh and somehow still very comforting. Maigret sees a man with a troubled past solve murders and move between the law and the underbelly of Paris.
- Here’s what PBS says about this new show: “ Jules Maigret’s unique superpower is his deep compassion for victims and suspects alike and his patient immersion into the environment of a crime, all of which lead to profound insights that we can’t wait to see play out.”
